Vedantra – Refund, Return & Exchange Policy

At Vedantra, every product is crafted with care using a premium marble dust and resin mix. Since our products are artisanal, decorative, and handcrafted, slight variations in finish, texture, weight, and color may naturally occur.

This policy is designed to ensure fair customer support while protecting the authenticity and handcrafted nature of our products.

1. Eligibility for Return, Refund or Exchange

A return, refund, or exchange will be accepted only in the following cases:

  • A wrong product has been delivered.
  • The product arrives broken or damaged.
  • The product received is materially different from the images or description shown on our website.
  • The product has a major manufacturing defect.
  • Any part/accessory is missing from the package.

To raise a claim, customers must contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

2. Mandatory Unboxing Video

For damaged, broken, missing, or wrong-product claims, a complete unboxing video is mandatory.

The video must clearly show:

  • The sealed package from all sides.
  • The shipping label.
  • The complete opening of the package.
  • The product condition immediately after opening.
  • Any damage, missing item, or wrong product received.

Claims without a proper unboxing video may not be accepted.

3. Non-Returnable and Non-Refundable Cases

We do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for the following reasons:

  • Change of mind after purchase.
  • Customer no longer needs the product.
  • Weight or size expectations.
  • Minor color variation due to lighting, photography, screen display, or handmade finishing.
  • Slight size difference due to handcrafted production.
  • Minor texture, polish, or finish variations.
  • Material misunderstanding where the product is already mentioned as marble dust/resin.
  • Incorrect assumption that the product is brass, metal, stone, or any other material.
  • Product damaged after delivery due to mishandling, dropping, improper cleaning, heat exposure, or wrong installation.
  • Products returned without original packaging or damaged due to poor repacking.

4. Material Clarification

All Vedantra products clearly mention their material as marble dust and resin mix, unless specifically stated otherwise on the product page.

Our products are not brass, not metal, and not pure stone, unless clearly mentioned in the product description.

Incorrect assumptions about brass, metal, weight, or material do not qualify for return, refund, or exchange.

5. Damaged or Broken Product Delivery

If your product arrives broken, chipped, or damaged during delivery, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

You must share:

  • Order ID
  • Clear photos of the product
  • Photos of the packaging
  • Complete unboxing video
  • Description of the issue

After verification, we will offer either:

  • A free replacement, or
  • A full refund, depending on product availability and case approval.

No return shipping charge will apply for approved damaged delivery cases.

6. Wrong or Missing Product

If you receive a wrong product, wrong design, wrong size variant, or missing part/accessory, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

After verification, we will arrange a free replacement or resolve the issue at no additional cost.

No return shipping charge will apply in approved wrong or missing item cases.

7. Return Shipping Charges

For approved returns that are not due to damaged delivery, wrong item, or missing item, a flat return shipping fee may be deducted from the refund.

The return shipping fee may range from:

₹149 to ₹249, depending on product size, weight, and pickup location.

Customers must pack the product securely for return pickup.

8. Packaging Requirement for Returns

For any approved return, the product must be returned with proper packaging.

Please keep:

  • Original box
  • Thermocol
  • Bubble wrap
  • Inner packaging
  • Outer carton
  • Any accessories or free items received with the order

The product must be packed safely before pickup. If the product is damaged during return transit due to poor or careless repacking, the customer may be held responsible, and refund or exchange may be rejected.

9. Refund Process

Refunds are processed only after the returned product is received and passes quality check.

Refund method:

  • Prepaid Orders: Refund will be processed to the original payment method, bank account, or UPI within 5–7 working days after approval.
  • COD Orders: Refund will be processed through bank transfer or UPI after verification and collection of customer payment details.

Refund timelines may vary depending on banks, payment gateways, and holidays.

10. Exchange Policy

Exchange is available only in the following cases:

  • Wrong item shipped.
  • Wrong size variant delivered, if applicable.
  • Wrong design delivered.
  • Product materially different from the order.
  • Damaged or defective product received.

Exchange is not available for:

  • Preference change.
  • Change of mind.
  • Weight or size expectation mismatch.
  • Minor handmade variation.
  • Material misunderstanding.
  • Realising later that the product is not brass or metal.

11. Order Cancellation

Orders can be cancelled within 2 hours of placing the order, provided the order has not already been processed or dispatched.

Once the order is dispatched, cancellation is not possible.

For COD orders, refusal to accept delivery or repeated non-acceptance may be treated as misuse of the COD facility. Vedantra reserves the right to restrict COD availability for such customers in the future.

12. Quality Check

All returned products go through a quality check after reaching our warehouse.

Refund or exchange may be rejected if:

  • Product is used.
  • Product is damaged after delivery.
  • Product is returned incomplete.
  • Product is returned without original packaging.
  • Product is altered, cleaned harshly, broken, scratched, or mishandled.
  • Product does not match the original item shipped.

14. Important Note

Vedantra reserves the right to approve or reject return, refund, and exchange requests based on the condition of the product, proof submitted, delivery records, and quality check result.

This policy is created to protect genuine customers while preventing misuse of returns for handcrafted spiritual decor products.
